Welcome to Hill View Junior School Ski Club!

Being able to ski is a wonderful skill to gain at any age, though especially for children, & whether they use their skills for recreation or competitively they gain from the experience in terms of confidence, improved balance & co-ordination, increased fitness & plain, good old-fashioned fun. Having seen this first hand, we set up Ski Club in January 2006 to offer Hill View Junior School students the opportunity to enjoy the same experience.

Since then, Ski Club has taught around 36 children to ski from scratch & has developed the technique of a further 21 skiers to the point where some of our members regularly take part in skiing competitions & win medals, whilst others have gone on to join successful secondary school teams or our local ski racing club.
